Working On My First Post...

I'm a perfectionist, so, of course, I want my first post to be "just right." That means it's taking longer than I thought, but it also means that it'll be worth the wait. I hope you'll come back soon to check it out!

About This Blog

First, Here's a Little More About Me:

I am an avid reader, love spending time outside, lost a lot of weight a couple years ago and, in the process, learned to actually love vegetables, "healthy food," and exercise.

Creative projects are one of my major passions, but my ADHD and interest in everything has led me to become a "jack-of-all-trades and master of none."

I have a massive love (bordering on obsession) for words and reading, gardening, rabbits , reading, chocolate, random facts, sheep, genealogy, reading, chocolate, Paris, the beach, and--have I mentioned--reading?

I'm bisexual and married to a wonderful man who brings humor and sunshine into my life. We don't have any children, but do consider our two quirky dogs to be our "kids."

I'm a grammar-nazi, frequent traveler, tree-hugging, uber-liberal, Catholic, animal-loving, creative, pro-choice woman who loves old traditions and is *full* of contradictions . . . and more than a little madness. (No, really, I'm happily medicated, and you wouldn't want it any other way.)

Now, About This Blog:

I really do have a "big mouth" and usually have tons to say about anything and everything, so a blog seems like a great place for me to do that (and keep from talking my husband and friends' ears off . . . ). I'm also interested in writing, but seem to need some kind of "push" to actually do it. I'm hoping that this blog will give me the impetus to write more often and work on becoming a better writer.

My interests, as you can tell from the above, vary widely, so I'm sure to have many different subjects on this blog; if you aren't interested in today's topic, check back next week. You'll probably find something entirely different!

I hope you'll come along on this journey with me and share your views on what I have to say. I know enough to be aware that I have a whole heck of a lot to learn!
